We believe in nurturing a love for nature and inspiring young minds to become advocates for our buzzing friends.
Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting bee hotel workshops for the elementary school children in our local after-school activity group in Ticino. It was an exciting opportunity for these budding environmentalists to explore the world of bees and get hands-on in creating their very own clay bee hotels!
The children learned about the vital role of bees as pollinators and how bee hotels provide safe havens for these incredible creatures. They discovered the significance of diverse nesting options, hole depths, and suitable materials. Through the joy of sculpting clay and constructing miniature bee hotels, they gained a deeper appreciation for the delicate balance of nature.
These workshops not only fostered creativity but also sparked curiosity and empathy towards the natural world. By engaging with our young participants, we hope to inspire a lifelong connection with bees and an understanding of their importance in sustaining our ecosystems. Together, we're sowing the seeds of environmental stewardship and building a brighter future for our buzzing friends!
